1A psalm.
Sing a new song to the LORD,
for he has done amazing things.
His right hand and his holy arm have won the victory for him. 2The LORD has made known how he saves.
He has shown the nations that he is righteous. 3He has remembered his love and faithfulness
to the people of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
how our God saves. 4Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.
Burst out with a joyful shout, and sing praises! 5Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre.
Sing a sweet song with the harp. 6Blow trumpets and the ram's horn.
Shout for joy before the LORD, the King. 7Let the sea roar, and everything in it.
Let the world roar, and all who live in it. 8Let the rivers clap their hands.
Let the mountains sing together for joy 9before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with what is right.
He will judge the peoples fairly.
