1And the LORD said to Moses, 2"If someone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD by tricking his neighbor about something left in his care or given as a pledge, or about something stolen, or if he cheats his neighbor, 3or if he finds something lost and lies about it and swears falsely, or if he does any other sin like these that people do- 4Once he has sinned and become guilty, he must give back what he stole or took by cheating. He must give back what was left in his care, or the lost thing he found. 5Or he must give back anything else he swore falsely about. He must pay it all back and add a fifth of its value. He must pay it to the owner on the day he admits his guilt. 6Then he must bring his guilt offering for the LORD to the priest. It must be a ram from the flock with no defects, worth the right amount. 7In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the LORD. He will be forgiven for anything he may have done to become guilty." 8Then the LORD said to Moses, 9"Give Aaron and his sons this command. This is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to stay on the fire pit of the altar all night, until morning. The fire must be kept burning on the altar. 10The priest is to put on his linen robe and linen underclothes. He is to take away the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has burned up on the altar. He is to put them beside the altar. 11Then he must take off these clothes and put on other clothes. He must carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is clean by the law. 12The fire on the altar must be kept burning. It must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire. He is to lay the burnt offering on it. He is to burn the fat parts of the peace offerings on it. 13The fire must be kept burning on the altar all the time. It must not go out. 14This is the law of the grain offering: Aaron's sons are to offer it before the LORD in front of the altar. 15The priest is to take a handful of fine flour and olive oil from the grain offering. He is to take all its frankincense too. He is to burn the memorial portion on the altar. Its smell pleases the LORD. 16Aaron and his sons are to eat the rest. It must be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They are to eat it in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting. 17It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it to them as their share of my food offerings. It is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering. 18Any male among Aaron's sons may eat it. It is their share of the food offerings to the LORD forever, for all the generations to come. Anything that touches them will become holy." 19Then the LORD said to Moses, 20"This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must bring to the LORD on the day he is anointed. They are to bring about two quarts of fine flour as a regular grain offering. Half is for the morning and half for the evening.a 21It is to be made with oil on a griddle. Bring it well mixed. Offer it as a grain offering broken in pieces. Its smell pleases the LORD. 22It is to be made by the priest from Aaron's sons who will be anointed to take his place. It is the LORD's share forever. It must be burned up completely. 23Every grain offering for a priest must be burned up completely. It must not be eaten." 24And the LORD said to Moses, 25"Tell Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the sin offering: The sin offering is to be killed before the LORD in the same place where the burnt offering is killed. It is most holy. 26The priest who offers it is to eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting. 27Anything that touches its meat will become holy. If any of its blood splashes on a piece of clothing, you must wash it in a holy place. 28The clay pot the sin offering is boiled in must be broken. If it is boiled in a bronze pot, the pot must be scrubbed and rinsed with water. 29Any male among the priests may eat it. It is most holy. 30But some sin offerings must not be eaten. If the blood was brought into the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place, it must be burned.
