1Bezalel made the altar for burnt offerings out of acacia wood. It was square, 7½ feet long and 7½ feet wide. It was 4½ feet high.a 2He made a horn at each of its four corners. The horns and the altar were all one piece. He covered the altar with bronze. 3He made all the tools for the altar out of bronze. He made its pots, shovels, bowls for sprinkling, meat forks, and fire pans. 4He made a grate of bronze netting for the altar. It went under the altar's ledge, halfway up from the bottom. 5He cast four rings at the four corners of the bronze grate. They held the poles. 6He made the poles out of acacia wood and covered them with bronze. 7Then he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it. He made the altar out of boards, so it was hollow. 8Next he made the bronze basin and its stand. He made them from the mirrors of the women who served at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting. 9Then he made the courtyard. The south side of the courtyard was 150 feet long. It had curtains of fine twisted linen.b 10It had 20 posts and 20 bronze bases. The posts had silver hooks and bands. 11The north side was also 150 feet long. It had 20 posts and 20 bronze bases. The hooks and bands of the posts were silver.c 12The west side was 75 feet long and had curtains. It had ten posts and ten bases. The hooks and bands of the posts were silver.d 13The east side, toward the sunrise, was also 75 feet long.e 14The curtains on one side of the entrance were 22½ feet long. They had three posts and three bases.f 15The curtains on the other side were also 22½ feet long. They had three posts and three bases too.g 16All the curtains around the courtyard were made of fine twisted linen. 17The bases for the posts were bronze. The hooks and bands were silver. The tops of the posts were covered with silver. So all the posts of the courtyard had silver bands. 18The curtain for the entrance to the courtyard was stitched with blue, purple, and red yarn and fine twisted linen. It was 30 feet long. Like the curtains of the courtyard, it was 7½ feet high.h 19It had four posts and four bronze bases. Their hooks were silver. Their bands and the covering of their tops were silver too. 20All the tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard around it were bronze. 21This is the list of things used for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony. The Levites wrote it down at Moses' command. Ithamar son of Aaron the priest was in charge of them. 22Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, was from the tribe of Judah. He made everything the LORD had commanded Moses. 23Oholiab son of Ahisamach worked with him. He was from the tribe of Dan. He was an engraver and a designer. He also stitched with blue, purple, and red yarn and fine linen. 24All the gold from the wave offering used for the work on the holy place came to 29 talents and 730 shekels. This was weighed by the sanctuary shekel.i 25The silver from the people who were counted came to 100 talents and 1,775 shekels. This was weighed by the sanctuary shekel.j 26It was a beka for each person. That is half a shekel, by the sanctuary shekel. It came from everyone 20 years old or older who had crossed over to be counted. There were 603,550 men in all.k 27The 100 talents of silver were used to cast the bases of the holy place and the bases of the veil. There were 100 bases from the 100 talents, one talent for each base. 28With the 1,775 shekels of silver, he made the hooks for the posts. He covered their tops and made bands for them. 29The bronze from the wave offering came to 70 talents and 2,400 shekels.l 30He used it to make the bases for the doorway of the Tent of Meeting. He also made the bronze altar and its bronze grate, and all the tools for the altar. 31He made the bases for the courtyard around it and the bases for its gate. He made all the tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard around it.
