1Benjamin's firstborn son was Bela. Ashbel was second, Aharah was third, 2Nohah was fourth, and Rapha was fifth. 3Bela's sons were Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram. 6These came from Ehud. They were the heads of the families who lived in Geba. They were forced to move to Manahath. 7They were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera was the one who led them away. He was the father of Uzza and Ahihud. 8Shaharaim had sons in the land of Moab. This was after he had sent away his wives Hushim and Baara. 9His sons by his wife Hodesh were Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons. They were heads of families. 11He also had sons by Hushim. They were Abitub and Elpaal. 12Elpaal's sons were Eber, Misham, and Shemed. Shemed built Ono and Lod and its villages. 13Beriah and Shema were also his sons. They were heads of the families living in Aijalon. They drove out the people who lived in Gath. 14Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were Beriah's sons. 17Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were Elpaal's sons. 19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were Shimei's sons. 22Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25Iphdeiah, and Penuel were Shashak's sons. 26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were Jeroham's sons. 28All of these were heads of families. They were chiefs, as listed in their family records. They lived in Jerusalem. 29Jeiel, the father of Gibeon, lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah. 30Abdon was his firstborn son. Then came Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher, 32and Mikloth. Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. They also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem. 33Ner was the father of Kish. Kish was the father of Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal. 34Jonathan's son was Merib-baal. Merib-baal was the father of Micah. 35Micah's sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz. 36Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah. Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza. 37Moza was the father of Binea. Binea's son was Raphah. Raphah's son was Eleasah, and Eleasah's son was Azel. 38Azel had six sons. These were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All of these were Azel's sons. 39His brother Eshek had these sons: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third. 40Ulam's sons were brave and mighty warriors. They were archers. They had many sons and grandsons, 150 in all. All of these came from Benjamin.
