1How beautiful your feet are in sandals,
daughter of a prince!
The curves of your thighs are like jewels,
the work of a master's hands.
2Your navel is a round cup.
It is never without mixed wine.
Your waist is a heap of wheat
with lilies all around it.
3Your breasts are like two fawns,
twin baby gazelles.
4Your neck is like a tower of ivory.
Your eyes are like the pools of Heshbon
by the gate of Bath-rabbim.
Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon
that looks toward Damascus.
5Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel.
The hair on your head is like purple threads.
The king is held captive by your long hair.
6How beautiful and pleasing you are,
my love, with all your delights!
7You are tall like a palm tree.
Your breasts are like bunches of fruit.
8I said, "I will climb the palm tree.
I will take hold of its fruit."
May your breasts be like bunches of grapes on the vine.
May your breath smell like apples,
9and may your mouth be like the best wine.
May it flow smoothly to my beloved,
gliding gently over lips and teeth.
10I belong to my beloved,
and his desire is for me.
11Come, my beloved.
Let's go out to the countryside.
Let's spend the night among the wildflowers.
12Let's get up early and go to the vineyards.
Let's see if the vines have budded,
if their flowers have opened,
and if the pomegranates are in bloom.
There I will give you my love.
13The mandrakes give off their sweet smell.
At our door are all kinds of good things,
new ones and old ones.
I have saved them up for you, my beloved.
