Ruth 2:20

Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "May he be blessed by the LORD! He has not stopped being kind to the living or to the dead." Then Naomi said, "That man is a close relative of ours. He is one of our family redeemers."

Note: A family redeemer (kinsman-redeemer) was a close relative who had the duty to help a family in need, such as buying back land or marrying a widow to carry on the family name.
