1For the choir leader. Of David. To help remember.
God, hurry and save me!
LORD, hurry to help me! 2May those who want to kill me be ashamed and confused.
May those who want to hurt me be turned back and put to shame. 3Some people say, "Aha! Aha!"
May they turn back because of their shame. 4May all who look for you be happy and glad in you.
May those who love the way you save always say,
"Let God be praised as great!" 5But I am poor and in need.
God, hurry to me.
You are my help and the one who saves me.
LORD, do not wait.
