PsalmsChapter 125

¹A song for going up to worship.
Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion.
It can't be moved. It lasts forever. ²The mountains are all around Jerusalem.
In the same way, the LORD is all around his people,
now and forever. ³The scepter of the wicked will not stay
over the land given to those who do right.
If it did, those who do right might reach out their hands to do wrong. ⁴Do good, O LORD, to those who are good,
to those whose hearts are honest. ⁵But some turn aside to crooked paths.
The LORD will send them away with those who do evil.
May there be peace on Israel.
