¹Hallelujah!
Praise him, you servants of the LORD.
Praise the name of the LORD. ²May the name of the LORD be blessed,
now and forever. ³From where the sun rises to where it sets,
the name of the LORD is praised. ⁴The LORD is high above all the nations.
His glory is above the heavens. ⁵Who is like the LORD our God?
He sits on his throne up high. ⁶He bends down low
to look at the heavens and the earth. ⁷He raises the poor up from the dust.
He lifts the needy out of the garbage heap. ⁸He seats them with nobles,
with the princes of his people. ⁹He gives the woman who could not have children a home.
He makes her a happy mother of children.
