Galatians 2:16

But we know that a person is not made right with God by doing what the law says. A person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Christ Jesus. We did this so we could be made right with God by faith in Christ, and not by doing what the law says. This is because no one will be made right with God by doing what the law says.
