Abner was very angry at what Ish-bosheth said. "Am I a dog's head that belongs to Judah?" he asked. "All this time I have been loyal to your father Saul's family. I have been loyal to his brothers and his friends. I have not handed you over to David. But now you blame me for doing wrong with this woman!
