1Now about the money being gathered for God's people. Do what I told the churches of Galatia to do. 2On the first day of every week, each of you should set aside some of what you earn. Save it up. Then no money will need to be gathered when I come. 3When I get there, I will send the people you choose to take your gift to Jerusalem. I will send letters with them. 4And if it seems right for me to go too, they can travel with me. 5I will come to you after I go through Macedonia. I am planning to go through Macedonia. 6Maybe I will stay with you for a while. I may even spend the winter. Then you can help me on my trip, wherever I go. 7I don't want to see you now only for a short visit. I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord allows it. 8But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost. 9That is because a great door has opened for me to do good work, even though many fight against me. 10If Timothy comes, make sure he has nothing to be afraid of while he is with you. He is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am. 11So no one should look down on him. Send him on his way in peace so he can come back to me. I am waiting for him to come with the brothers. 12Now about our brother Apollos. I begged him to go to you with the brothers. He did not want to go at all right now. But he will go when he has the chance. 13Stay alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be brave. Be strong. 14Do everything in love. 15You know that Stephanas and his family were the first to believe in Achaia. They have given themselves to serving God's people. Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16to submit to people like them. Submit to everyone who works and labors with us. 17I am glad that Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus have come. They have given me what you could not give. 18They have refreshed my spirit, and yours too. So show thanks to men like these. 19The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca greet you warmly in the Lord. So does the church that meets at their house. 20All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. 22If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be under a curse. Come, Lord!a 23May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24My love is with all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
